The Greenwood High School Chess Club competed at the Wisconsin State Scholastic Chess Championship and tied for 6th out of 23 teams! Angel Anderson’s individual score earned him a 10th place trophy out of 116 competitors!
This was the first competition the newly form club attended. It was held at UW-Oshkosh on March 18-19, 2023. The competition was a 5-round team Swiss tournament and utilized US Chess' Official Rules of Chess.
