Greenwood Middle/High School held its annual Battle of the Books competition on February 16, 2023. Student teams spend months reading books from this year's 20-title book list, put out by the Wisconsin Educational Media & Technology Association (WEMTA). Teams then practice by answering trivia questions about the books and learning which authors have written which titles.
While the teacher teams narrowly won at both levels, the winning Middle School student team was Ashlyn and Kori, and the winning High School student team was Kayla, Chad, Ella, and Karsyn!
The winning student teams at both levels go on to compete at the State level, which is an online competition.
